Excellent Energy and Thermal Ratings
Our Rooflights have an excellent U-Value rating of just 0.83 W/m²K, (a measure of heat transmission through a window). Argon Gas, filled between each glass pane improves the U-Value, (Energy Rating), by over 30%. This helps keep heat in and reduces energy bills. Argon is denser and heavier than air and blocks out unwanted UV Rays. It also reduces noise levels, ensuring a quieter and peaceful environment. Building regulations stipulate the U-Value must be under 1.5 W/m²K, with lower numbers indicating better insulating properties. At 0.83 W/m²K, Panotrade’s rooflights are one of the most efficient on the market!
